Christmas Markets in Mallorca 2016

The Christmas market agenda is here!
Christmas is about to arrive in Mallorca. This Saturday we will turn on the Christmas lights of Palma and start some of the first Christmas markets. Well, in fact some have already started! The lighting of the lights will be accompanied by a circus show,and some concerts too.
The Christmas Markets are a perfect place to buy your gifts while supporting small businesses, artisans and creative entrepreneurs. Many of them also sell their products online in the marketplace, where you can do your Christmas shopping online. You will find unique gifts made by creative people from Mallorca and the rest of the world.


Christmas markets on the weekend of 3-4 December:

Fira de Nadal and the Kings of Palma
From November 18 to January 6, 2017: Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

As every year, the center of Palma welcomes several markets, distributed between the areas of the Plaza Mayor, with vendors of nativity scenes, figurines and Christmas decorations. In addition to a sample of Mallorcan crafts and gastronomic products and confectionery of monasteries and convents. In the Ramblas are placed the positions of artisans of the guild of craftsmen of the Balearic Islands. You will find unique gifts. In Plaza España there are also accessories, jewelry, handicrafts, as well as several food stalls. And finally in Via Roma you will find traditional gastronomic products like cheese, honey or pasties!

Fira de Nadal in Lluc
December 3 and 4, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Location: Monasteri de Lluc
You will find handcrafts and Christmas products, food, jewelry and ecological products.

Christmas Market in Avenida Jaime III de Palma
2,3 and 4 December and 16, 17 and 18 December- 10 am to 9 pm
A market where you can find many handmade products.
From the Paseo Mallorca to Jaime III street.

Christmas Market Santa Ponsa
This is a beautiful Christmas market in Santa Ponsa, Son Bugadelles from now until December 18.
Monday to Friday: 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.

Christmas Markets of the week from December 5 to 11:

Rata Market On December 10 and 11 is a sponsor for this event! From we fully support the second edition of Rata Market, the ephemeral market of art, design and crafts which will take place on 10 and 11 December. Last time the event was a huge success with over 1,500 visitors and this time it will be even bigger! For this edition, the event will be held in the old Firehouse in Son Castelló Polygon, Palma.
The event will have 50 stalls with designers and creative people, products made on a small scale and crafts. It’s a great opportunity to do Christmas shopping! There will be foodtrucks and activities for the whole family.

Christmas Festival in Club de Mar – Solidarity event to benefit Unicef
8, 9, 10 and 11 December. Opening hours: from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The traditional Christmas market of the Club de Mar has prepared activities for the whole family. One of the great novelties will be the zip wire and the climbing frame. They will have plenty of food trucks to try local food. There will be children’s activities, gastronomy, performances and live music, as well as the traditional Christmas market.

2016 Spanish Christmas Market of Pueblo Español
December 6th to 11th
Another Christmas Market You Can not Miss! With live music, dance, activities for children,  gastronomy, and hot chocolate! And there might even be an appearance from the real Santa Claus!
Location: Nuevo Pueblo Español in Palma
Price: € 5 adults / children up to 12 years free (with hot chocolate, coffee or wine)
